SKUSA partner with Byte Hockey

Skoolsports USA are delighted to announce a 4 year partnership with Byte field hockey, one of the leading field hockey companies in the world. The partnership will enable Skoolsports USA to use top class coaching equipment at all of their camps.

Byte field hockey sticks will be available to purchase at all camps and the college coaches and International coaches will be able to provide top class feedback on each stick to provide players with the stick best suited to their needs. Skoolsports USA Director Colin Clarke said “This is a major boost for Skoolsports USA as the Byte field hockey equipment is first class and will add to the quality of our field hockey camps across USA.” Byte Field Hockey Director Billy McPherson said “It is a great privilege to be selected as equipment supplier to Skoolsports USA. We will be working closely with Colin and Andy to provide a range of equipment to support their coaching staff”

Skoolsports USA are delighted to announce they are expanding their field hockey camps in 2016. Building on an excellent foundation in Pennsylvania in 2015, Skoolsports USA have taken over Gateway Field Hockey Camps moving forward. Gateway has been the leading provider of Field Hockey camps in the Mid West since 1983 have produced numerous college players ensuring the love of field hockey has continued to grow and develop over the past 33 years. Kelly Yates, the Gateway Director will be inducted into the NFHCA hall of Fame in January, 2016 and owes much of her success to the success of building the Gateway Camps for 33 years. Skoolsports USA is run by Directors Colin Clarke and Andy Thornton. Colin is the current England U21 Women's Coach and was previously Assistant Coach for Scotland Senior Women. Andy is the current USA Men's National Indoor Coach and Associate Head Coach of University at Albany who were final 4 in 2014.

Skoolsports USA Co-Director Colin Clarke said "This is an exciting time for Skoolsports USA and we are excited to expand into the midwest offering high school players the opportunity to be coached by International coaches and leading college coaches".

Gateway Director Kelly Yates commented on the merger "After 33 years as the director/owner of Gateway Field Hockey Camps, I am excited to turn the camps over to Skoolsports USA run by two very knowledgeable and energetic coaches--Colin Clarke and Andy Thornton. Skoolsports USA will continue to expand on the Gateway sites and ideas while expanding to new cities. They have the technical expertise and will use their International experience to continue to make Skoolsports USA an awesome Camp opportunity for players throughout the USA".

Having worked for Gateway for the past 14 years I am looking forward to bringing Skoolsports USA back to hotbeds of field hockey and working with familiar faces this Summer".
